Playdays

** For the 2020 playday season we will be having the playdays on the last Sunday of the months between April and October. **

Our Playday season starts in April and runs through October. We pick one Sunday each month to host the playday keeping in mind that our area has deep roots with both Pierce county 4h as well wahset so our schedules dont conflict. 

   Meridian Riding Clubs playdays consist of six single rider events and two tandem (team) rider events which change from month to month. Our playdays are also open for the public to join in on the fun. Not sure if you want to try these? Come and watch one. We always love to see spectators come and watch. 

Prices are as follows:

non member (prices have a $5.00 arena fee included):

$3.00 per event

$20.00 per rider for all day 

Member (arena fee is waived):

$3.00 per event

$15.00 for all day

Jackpot Barrel run:

$5.00 per rider

If all day is paid for this price includes both team events should you choose to participate.

New to us this year is the barrel jackpot. What we are doing is anyone who wants to join in pays a  $5.00 entry fee and we will take your time from your normal barrel run and tally all of them up and the winner shares the pot with 2nd  place. 

Also while hosting club playdays we have a full service kitchen that serves breakfast and lunch with a variety of food and drinks for you to choose from.

Interested in helping out? We currently have 2 openings in the show office to help out with registrations. We ask that everyone that is interested in this be able to commit to being at every playday (we will have the ability to switch out people so even if you are a rider you will still be able to ride)
